Built an interactive mission model of all current and future NASA missions in STK to aid in network loading analysis. Model was commissioned by NASA HQ and laid groundwork for a future model that will further consolidate NASA databases, assist in ground station placement, and allow for planning of future missions.

Tool creates an interactive STK model

User can filter based on start date, end date, as well as network (NEN, SN, or DSN), allowing on demand network loading simulations.

Used NASA projections to create centralized database

Compiled information such as communication frequency, data rate, and latency for use in network loading analysis, and central body and orbit type used to model the orbit in STK.

Used machine learning to create future NASA missions

Used a generative adversarial network (GAN) to generate orbit and communcation parameters for simulated future missions.
